Dahlmans Kylteknik installs HVAC systems for PostNord facility
Nordic Climate Group subsidiary Dahlmans Kylteknik has completed a climate control installation at a PostNord distribution site in Uddevalla, Sweden.
Dahlmans Kylteknik has retrofitted a 4,000-square-meter sorting facility in Uddevalla to improve temperature control. The site, owned by Benders and leased by PostNord, required a solution to combat excessive heat accumulation during summer months.
The project involved the installation of two Daikin units capable of both cooling and heating. The equipment features tall indoor units designed to intake air at floor level and distribute it across large, open spaces with high ceilings. This setup aims to maintain a consistent environment regardless of outdoor temperature fluctuations.
Benders property manager Raymond Paulsson stated that the installation met operational requirements. Dahlmans Kylteknik continues to provide ongoing maintenance for the facility's cooling machinery under a pre-existing service agreement.
