DAKboard Launches TouchHub Update for Family Organization
DAKboard, a digital calendar and dashboard platform, has released its TouchHub update, introducing interactive features for household management and smart home control.

Syracuse, NY โ July 23, 2026 โ DAKboard, a provider of digital calendars and dashboards used by over 300,000 families, today launched its TouchHub update. The upgrade aims to simplify family routines, particularly as the back-to-school season approaches.
TouchHub transforms DAKboard from a passive display into an interactive family command center. It offers enhanced features for smart home device control, aims to foster independence in children, and reduces the organizational burden on parents. A key component is a shared family chore chart where children can earn points for completed tasks, redeemable for rewards.
The update also includes a built-in child lock feature to prevent accidental interference with other users' tasks. Additionally, the Home Assistant integration now functions as a standalone app, enabling direct control of home devices like lights and thermostats from the screen. DAKboard's objective is to provide a centralized hub for managing schedules, photos, weather, and other family information.
DAKboard states that TouchHub builds upon the company's existing strengths, including extensive customization and broad integration capabilities. The update is available across all DAKboard plans, including its free tier. The company has previously served over 300,000 families in 148 countries.
