Daksham Capital launches INR 300 crore consumer-focused fund
Daksham Capital has completed an initial close of INR 125 crore for its debut consumer-focused fund, targeting early-stage startups with proven product-market fit.

Multi-family office Daksham Capital has launched its maiden consumer-focused vehicle, Daksham Growth Ventures (DGV) Fund I. The fund has secured INR 125 crore in its first close, moving toward a total target corpus of INR 300 crore, which includes a greenshoe option.
Led by managing partner Shivam Diwan, the fund plans to deploy capital into 10โ15 startups, with typical investment sizes ranging from INR 5 crore to INR 20 crore. The firm will primarily target Pre-Series A and Series A companies with annual recurring revenue (ARR) between INR 25 crore and INR 75 crore. Diwan stated that the strategy prioritizes capital-efficient business models that have already established product-market fit.
The investment scope covers direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, consumer enablers, and B2B2C platforms, with 50โ70% of allocations expected to target direct consumer businesses. DGV also plans to integrate AI-driven consumer services into its mandate, focusing on operations and customer engagement rather than deeptech research.
Beyond providing capital, the firm intends to offer board-level guidance, financial reporting assistance, and support in distribution expansion. The fund adds to a growing segment of dedicated consumer capital in the Indian market, following similar recent activity from firms like Kairon Capital and Fireside Ventures.
