The announcement focuses on RV-C compatibility, cold weather performance, and the expandability of multi-pack systems, all essential for typical recreational vehicle installations.
Many RV lithium battery upgrades encounter issues such as charging failures in freezing temperatures, difficulty reading battery state-of-charge on dashboards, or systems failing to properly parallel multiple batteries. According to DALY BMS, these problems are not due to cell quality but rather whether the BMS was chosen for actual RV use, considering cold weather logic, network integration, and multi-pack architecture.
The company clarifies that the true meaning of RV-C protocol compatibility lies in detailed, project-specific customization of message sets (PGNs). This ensures reliable communication between the battery and other vehicle systems like chargers and displays. For cold weather functionality, DALY presents the R10Q-M model, which includes an integrated heating control module to prevent lithium cell damage in freezing conditions.
For multi-pack expansion capabilities, DALY offers the R10KB model, designed for controlled paralleling with a built-in 1A parallel current limit.
