DALY BMS Introduces Wi-Fi Module for Remote Battery Management
DALY BMS has released a new Wi-Fi module designed to enable remote monitoring and data transmission for its battery management systems.
DALY BMS has launched a new Wi-Fi module, enabling remote monitoring capabilities for its battery management systems (BMS). The hardware facilitates independent data transmission to cloud-based platforms, allowing users to oversee and manage battery performance remotely without relying on local Bluetooth connections.
To operate the module, users must install the updated SMART BMS application, which supports cloud connectivity. The hardware connects to the BMS unit via a UART port, requiring a stable 2.4 GHz network for data transmission. Once configured through the app, the module uploads telemetry to the DALY cloud platform, providing a centralized interface for viewing device status and adjusting operational parameters.
The manufacturer specifies that the new module requires dedicated cabling compatible with the specific UART interface of the protection board. As the system operates differently from standard Bluetooth-based monitoring, users must ensure their hardware revision is compatible with the latest application version to enable remote features.
