DALY BMS offers single board for three LiFePO4 battery configurations
DALY BMS has released a new 100A BMS controller designed to automatically adapt to 16S 48V, 8S 24V, and 4S 12V LiFePO4 battery systems, reducing inventory needs for manufacturers.

DALY BMS has introduced a new 100A Battery Management System (BMS) controller capable of automatically identifying and managing three different lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery configurations: 16S 48V, 8S 24V, and 4S 12V.
The new controller, part of the A Series, features a universal design for 4–24S configurations. The BMS automatically detects the number of series-connected cells upon initial power-on, eliminating the need for manual configuration or DIP switches. This capability significantly reduces the inventory requirements for battery pack manufacturers serving diverse voltage requirements.
Targeted at applications common in the Indian market, such as solar energy storage, inverter backup systems, telecom power, and electric vehicles, the BMS comes standard with multiple communication interfaces including UART, CAN, and RS485, facilitating seamless integration.
According to DALY BMS, the controller operates at 100A continuous current and 150A peak current. It also offers an enhanced operating temperature range of -30°C to 70°C, crucial for India's variable climate conditions. The system supports parallel connection of up to ten battery packs and includes 100mA passive cell balancing.
