DALY BMS Releases Guide on Inverter Compatibility
DALY BMS has published a guide to help users ensure communication compatibility between battery management systems (BMS) and inverters for energy storage applications.

DALY BMS, a manufacturer of battery management systems (BMS) for energy storage, has released a comprehensive guide detailing the communication protocols required for its BMS units to function with various inverters.
The company stresses that physical connection ports like CAN or RS485 do not guarantee communication. The critical factor is the data protocol, which must be identical on both the BMS and the inverter for successful data exchange, including state of charge, voltage, and protection status.
The guide outlines that users must identify their inverter's supported protocol profiles, such as Pylontech, Growatt, or Deye styles, from the inverter's manual. DALY BMS confirms it has tested and validated compatibility with numerous mainstream protocols, including those from Voltronic, Growatt, SRNE, Pylontech, Deye, Victron, SMA, AISWEI, and SOFAR/MUST, across both RS485 and CAN interfaces.
DALY BMS advises customers to provide their specific inverter model and firmware version to the company's engineering team. This ensures the correct protocol profile and corresponding BMS model are selected, guaranteeing optimal system performance and reliability, even if the inverter brand is listed.
Operating in over 130 countries, DALY BMS manufactures battery management systems, supported by over 100 R&D engineers and nearly 100 patents, offering a one-year warranty and global technical support.
