DALY BMS Updates Quality Assurance Protocols for Product Development

Battery management system manufacturer DALY BMS is integrating stricter quality oversight across its entire product lifecycle to improve system reliability.

1 November 2026

DALY BMS has adopted an Integrated Product Development (IPD) framework to manage the quality of its battery management systems. The company is shifting its quality control focus upstream, emphasizing the role of Design Quality Engineers (DQE) in identifying potential failures during the initial R&D stages.

During the product development phase, the company subjects new units to a testing regime covering over 450 variables. This process is designed to proactively detect risks before a product reaches the manufacturing floor. Post-launch, the company uses a closed-loop system to gather performance data and customer feedback, which informs subsequent design iterations.

To ensure reliability in diverse applications, such as motive power and residential energy storage, the company uses simulation testing for specific scenarios like high-current overcurrent events and heavy-load startups. Automated testing tools are utilized to enhance the accuracy of these verification protocols.
