Dan Ives Shares Top 5 Tech Stocks for 2027
Former Wedbush analyst Dan Ives has launched his new firm, Yorkville Ives, and released his top five technology stock picks for 2027.

Dan Ives, formerly global head of tech research at Wedbush, has launched a new venture named Yorkville Ives. The firm, described as a "modern merchant bank" with an AI focus, has published its first equity research note, identifying five key technology stock picks for 2027.
The selected companies include semiconductor giant Nvidia, software powerhouse Microsoft, data analytics firm Palantir, consumer electronics brand Apple, and cybersecurity company CrowdStrike. Ives, known for his colorful on-air presence and pop culture references while at Wedbush, is now applying his expertise to his independent firm.
Yorkville Ives plans to cover 49 tech companies, with a significant emphasis on those involved in the artificial intelligence boom. This coverage will span hyperscalers, infrastructure suppliers, and companies in software, cybersecurity, and fintech.
The firm's research highlights the AI revolution as the largest technology buildout in history, positioning it as the defining macro force of the decade. Yorkville Ives suggests investors are currently underestimating the scale of a projected $4 trillion spending wave over the next few years.
Going forward, Ives will lead the development of Yorkville Ives' tech research efforts as a partner and senior managing director.
