Dangbei Atom Projector Receives Feature and Bug Fix Update

Dangbei has rolled out a new over-the-air (OTA) software update, version V11.1.0.81, for its Atom projector. The update focuses on enhancing image correction features and resolving performance bugs.

The primary new feature is real-time auto keystone correction. This system automatically adjusts the projected image to maintain a rectangular shape, even after the projector is moved. Users can enable this feature through the advanced settings under image correction.

In addition to the new keystone functionality, the update improves the performance of auto-focus and keystone correction, particularly when the projector is tilted at angles greater than 45 degrees. The release also contains fixes for issues that affected 3D mode, occasional malfunctions of auto-focus and keystone, and playback problems with the Hulu streaming service.

The update is distributed wirelessly and is recommended for all Atom projector users. Installation is estimated to take approximately five minutes once initiated via the on-screen prompt after connecting the device to the internet.
