Dangbei Introduces Projectors for Ceiling Viewing

Dangbei has introduced projectors specifically designed for ceiling projection, allowing users to watch movies and content comfortably from a reclined position. These devices eliminate the need to sit upright or hold a device, offering a novel viewing experience at home.

The company highlights that these ceiling projectors provide versatile viewing angles through adjustable stands, either integrated or available separately. These stands are designed to easily direct the image onto the ceiling, freeing up wall space and reducing setup complexity compared to traditional wall or ceiling-mounted projectors. This flexibility makes them suitable for home use, particularly for relaxation.

Specific models such as the Dangbei Atom and N2 are featured. The Atom projector can tilt up to 90 degrees with its integrated stand or up to 210 degrees with an optional gimbal stand. Features like automatic keystone correction and autofocus are included to ensure a clear and properly aligned image regardless of the projection angle. Dangbei recommends a minimum of 1080p resolution and a brightness of around 1000 ISO lumens for optimal viewing.

The projectors can also be used to create ambiance, for example, with star or aurora light effects, which the company suggests can aid relaxation and sleep. Some models also include built-in Google TV and Netflix for direct content streaming.
