Chinese technology firm Dangbei has released its N1 Air laser projector, now available through local retailers. The model features a 0.23-inch DMD chip, delivering 1080p resolution and 1800 CVIA brightness. Following government subsidies, the projector is priced at approximately 2599.2 yuan.

The N1 Air sports an almond white finish, with dimensions of 187x165x191mm and a weight of 1.9kg. It incorporates an "industry-first integrated gimbal design" allowing for 127 degrees of vertical adjustment, simplifying image aiming, including towards ceilings. This feature aims to provide users with setup flexibility.

The projector utilizes a new generation MALC eye-protection pure tri-color laser and Qualas 42 lasers, achieving 1800 CVIA brightness. It produces a native resolution of 1920x1080 pixels with a 30000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, covering 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut. An optical zoom lens (0.98~1.3:1) enables the projection of a 100-inch screen from a distance of 2.17 meters.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an "MT9-series flagship chip," paired with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It runs on the Bonfire OS 7 system and includes features for real-time keystone correction, autofocus, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and screen alignment. Audio is handled by dual 5W speakers supporting Dolby Hi-Res sound and DTS-X decoding. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 and USB-A 2.0.
