DapuStor launches J5101 enterprise-grade M.2 SSD
DapuStor has released the J5101, a PCIe Gen4 M.2 2280 enterprise boot drive designed for low-power operation.
DapuStor has introduced its new J5101 NVMe SSD, an M.2 2280 form factor drive targeted at enterprise server boot applications. The hardware is powered by the company's proprietary DP600 controller and utilizes the PCIe Gen4 interface.
The drive is available in three capacity configurations: 480GB, 960GB, and 1.92TB. Performance metrics include sequential read speeds reaching 3,800 MB/s and 4KB random read performance rated at 650K IOPS. DapuStor specifies a drive write endurance of 1 DWPD (Drive Write Per Day).
Efficiency and data security are central to the J5101 design. The manufacturer lists idle power consumption at 2W, with active power draw ranging between 4.5W and 6.5W. To address server environment requirements, the drive includes integrated power-loss protection (PLP), end-to-end (E2E) data integrity features, and secure boot firmware verification.
