Dassault Aviation and Dassault Systèmes Partner on Secure Cloud for Defense Programs

Le Bourget, France – June 20, 2023 – Dassault Aviation and Dassault Systèmes announced today at the Paris Air Show an expansion of their long-term collaboration. The partnership aims to bring enhanced security, sovereignty, and cloud-based collaboration capabilities to major defense programs.
Dassault Aviation intends to use Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud for the development of its next-generation fighter aircraft. This project is a key component of the Future Combat Air System, focusing on securing European autonomy in defense and security.
The cloud environment will be housed within Dassault Aviation's facilities and operated by Dassault Systèmes through its OUTSCALE brand. The platform has achieved SecNumCloud qualification from the National Cybersecurity Agency of France, signifying the highest level of security accreditation.
The 3DEXPERIENCE platform will provide a dedicated, sovereign defense cloud, enabling Dassault Aviation and its partners to develop the fighter with increased agility within a highly secure and scalable environment. Users will benefit from continuous software updates delivering the latest advancements in systems engineering, program management, and simulation.
