Dassault Aviation Awards Students at Aerospace Challenge

Dassault Aviation was among the organizers of the 20th Student Aerospace Challenge's closing ceremony, held on June 25, 2026, at the Air and Space Museum in Le Bourget, France. The event was a collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Astronaut Club (ACE), ArianeGroup, and the National Centre for Space Studies (CNES).

Fifteen student teams from six European countries, including Germany, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Poland, and the United Kingdom, submitted their final reports and presented their projects. This edition of the international student competition demonstrated its established maturity within the field.

The "Dassault Aviation Award" was presented to the ImpAerials team from Imperial College London in the United Kingdom. Their project focused on an innovative hypersonic suborbital vehicle designed for very long-range flights.

Other prizes were also awarded during the event, such as the ESA Grand Prize to the Pangea Astralis team from École Centrale de Lyon, France. The challenge aims to foster innovation and talent in the aerospace sector among students across Europe.
