Dassault Aviation Delivered 52 New Aircraft in 2024

Dassault Aviation, the French aerospace manufacturer, announced that it delivered a total of 52 new aircraft in 2024. This figure includes 21 Rafale fighter jets and 31 Falcon business jets. The deliveries represent an increase from 2023, when the company delivered 39 aircraft.

The delivery of Rafale aircraft saw a rise to 21 units from 13 in the previous year, with 14 delivered to French military forces and 7 to international clients. Falcon business jet deliveries increased to 31, compared to 26 in 2023. The company had initially guided for 35 Falcon deliveries for 2024.

Dassault Aviation maintained a solid order backlog at the end of the year. As of December 31, 2024, the backlog consisted of 220 Rafale aircraft, with 164 designated for export and 56 for France. The company also had 79 Falcon business jets in its backlog, down from 84 at the close of 2023.

In terms of new orders received during 2024, Dassault Aviation secured orders for 30 export Rafale jets, a decrease from the 60 orders received in 2023 (which included 42 for France and 18 for export). Orders for Falcon business jets totaled 26, a slight increase compared to the 23 orders placed in the prior year.

Dassault Aviation is scheduled to release its full annual financial results, including revenue figures, on March 5, 2025.
