Dassault Aviation has completed the production of its 300th Rafale fighter jet at its facility in Saint-Cloud, France. This milestone achievement underscores the operational, industrial, and commercial success of the versatile combat aircraft.
The Rafale program engages over 400 French companies under the oversight of the French Directorate General of Armament. Its development is crucial for France's industrial and military sovereignty and has secured significant export contracts.
To date, France and eight international customers have placed firm orders for a total of 533 Rafale aircraft. There are still 233 aircraft awaiting delivery, with the production rate increased to four aircraft per month.
The first Rafale units entered service with the French Navy in 2004 and the French Air Force in 2006. Export deliveries commenced in 2015 with Egypt.
