Dassault Aviation Inaugurates New Production Facility in Cergy

Dassault Aviation inaugurated a new production facility in Cergy, located northwest of Paris, on September 23, 2025. Chairman and CEO Éric Trappier stated this is the company's first new production site established since the 1970s.

The Cergy facility, operational since summer 2024, replaces the outdated plant in Argenteuil. The new site focuses on manufacturing components for both Falcon business jets and Rafale fighter jets, including skin panels, small parts, and forward fuselage assemblies. It also handles the outfitting of Rafale fuselages and the production of metal hoses.

This new facility hosts over 600 employees, many of whom transferred from the Argenteuil site. Trappier emphasized the investment as a significant signal for the aerospace sector and for France's industrial sovereignty. "It is a question of national expertise that we must preserve and develop," he said.

The modern Cergy plant spans over 110,760 square meters and incorporates sustainable features such as solar panels on the roof, an advanced ventilation system, and smart lighting.
