Dassault Aviation Opens New Factory in Cergy

Cergy, France – September 23, 2025 – Dassault Aviation officially opened its new production facility in Cergy, Val d’Oise, on September 23, 2025. The inauguration ceremony was led by CEO Éric Trappier and attended by local dignitaries, including Valérie Pécresse, president of the Île-de-France region.

This new Cergy plant marks Dassault Aviation's first new production establishment since the 1970s. It has been developed to supersede the company's obsolete facility in Argenteuil, which had been in operation for decades. The site commenced operations in summer 2024 and now hosts over 600 employees, many of whom transferred from the former Argenteuil plant.

The Cergy facility is tasked with the assembly of components for both Falcon business jets and Rafale fighter jets. Key activities include the assembly of front fuselage sections, the fitting of electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems within Rafale fuselages, and the manufacturing of metal piping. Trappier highlighted the factory's opening as a positive signal for France's aeronautics and broader industrial sectors, emphasizing its role in national sovereignty and job creation.

This investment represents a significant upgrade to Dassault Aviation's manufacturing capabilities. The plant incorporates modern features such as integrated solar panels and adaptive lighting systems, aligning with the company's strategy to modernize and sustain its industrial footprint within France.
