Dassault Aviation Participates in Conference to Boost Women's Role in Aerospace
Ten female professionals from Dassault Aviation attended the 5th edition of the 'Let's Bring More Women into the Aerospace Industry' conference on June 4, organized by partner Aérométiers.

Dassault Aviation sent ten of its female professionals to participate in the fifth edition of the 'Let's Bring More Women into the Aerospace Industry' conference, held at the Air and Space Museum on June 4, 2026. The event was organized by partner Aérométiers.
The conference provided an opportunity for ambassadors from Dassault Aviation and Dassault Falcon Service to share insights into their daily work with several hundred elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as college students. The event aimed to showcase the wide variety of careers available in aerospace design, production, and maintenance.
The objective was to broaden students' horizons by demystifying different career paths and presenting a diverse range of roles within the sector. Many young participants expressed surprise at the breadth of opportunities beyond traditional jobs like pilots or flight attendants. Meeting women with varied backgrounds and careers, some deviating from conventional paths, helped expand their understanding of the industry.
Corinne, a machine setter at the company's Seclin facility, shared her experience of the industry's evolution. She described how the sector was previously viewed as a "man's world," potentially hindering women's entry into certain roles. Dassault Aviation continues its efforts to raise awareness and encourage more women to pursue careers in aerospace.
