Dassault Aviation announced strong 2024 financial results, with order intake growing significantly due to export sales of Rafale fighter jets. The company's backlog reached a record high.

Dassault Aviation has reported robust financial results for 2024, demonstrating significant growth. The company's order backlog reached a record 43.2 billion euros as of December 31, 2024, driven primarily by export orders for its Rafale fighter jets, which saw 30 new orders placed during the year.
Net sales for 2024 amounted to 6.2 billion euros, exceeding the company's guidance. Deliveries included 21 Rafale jets (14 for France and 7 for export) and 31 Falcon business jets, with the first Falcon 6X handed over. The adjusted operating income was 519 million euros, and adjusted net income reached 1.1 billion euros, marking a record high.
The company continued its success in export markets, with Indonesia ordering 18 Rafale jets and Serbia ordering 12. This brings the total number of Rafale aircraft ordered since the program's inception to 507. Orders for Falcon business jets also increased to 26 in 2024, up from 23 in the previous year.
Dassault Aviation is navigating supply chain challenges impacting production and is implementing measures to support its supply chain. The company also announced its participation in the development of a new unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) program intended to complement future Rafale F5 standard aircraft.
