Paris, France – Dassault Aviation supported the 2026 Geopolitics Book Award ceremony held on June 17. The main prize was awarded to Céline Marangé for her book "La Guerre d’Europe a commencé" (The War for Europe Has Begun). Additionally, a special jury prize was presented to Françoise Thom for her work "La Guerre totale de Vladimir Poutine" (Vladimir Putin's Total War).

The 13th edition of the award, held at Hôtel Dassault, was attended by Catherine Vautrin, Minister of Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs, and Alice Rufo, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs. Jean-Yves Le Drian, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defence, and Éric Trappier, Chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation, presided over the event.

Established in 2013 by Jean-Yves Le Drian, Cédric Lewandowski, and Luce Perrot, the Geopolitics Book Award aims to make geopolitical and strategic issues understandable to a wider, non-specialist audience. It recognizes works that clarify contemporary international challenges. Dassault Aviation, with over a century of operations, is a significant player in aircraft design, manufacturing, and sales. The company has delivered more than 10,000 military and civilian aircraft to over 90 countries, known for its Rafale fighter jets and Falcon business jets.
