Dassault Aviation, TII, and ASPIRE Sign Cooperation Deal for Aerospace Innovation

French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation has expanded its network of technology partners by signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) and ASPIRE, both subsidiaries of Abu Dhabi's Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC). The agreement, signed at the Dubai Airshow, aims to drive innovation in next-generation aeronautical products and solutions.

The collaboration will focus on developing high-value technologies to advance the future of the aerospace and defense sectors. Key areas include stealth materials, autonomous sub-systems, AI-based functions for aircraft, radio frequency measurement systems, and secure communication systems designed to protect data and operations from cyber threats.

This agreement is expected to support the UAE's broader defense and multi-domain objectives by delivering domestically developed innovations and solutions to local end-users. The initiative aims to strengthen the national industrial ecosystem and expand opportunities in global export markets, fostering greater self-reliance in strategic sectors.

Company officials highlighted the agreement's importance in deepening synergies between key technology providers. Dassault Aviation CEO Eric Trappier emphasized the commitment to developing high-value sovereign technological products, while TII CEO Najwa Aaraj and ASPIRE CEO Stephane Timpano noted the role of the collaboration in developing local talent and reinforcing the UAE's position as a global leader in technological R&D.
