Dassault Aviation to participate in French National Day flypast

Dassault Aviation is set to participate in the traditional July 14 military parade on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on July 14, 2026. The parade, scheduled from 9:50 AM to 12:00 PM, will feature over 6,600 soldiers, police officers, gendarmes, and firefighters.

The aerial component of the event is expected to commence around 10:21 AM. A total of 95 aircraft will be on display, comprising 11 foreign aircraft and 84 French aircraft. Dassault Aviation's aircraft will represent a significant portion, with 60 planes from the manufacturer scheduled to fly.

The flypast will open with the Patrouille de France performing the 'Big Nine' formation using nine Alpha Jet aircraft. This will be followed by demonstrations of operational deployments, including 10 Rafale, 10 Mirage 2000D, and 2 Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets. Aircraft representing permanent air security, Strategic Air Forces, and French Navy carrier-based aviation are also included.

Further aerial displays will feature intelligence and surveillance aircraft, such as the Rafale, Mirage 2000D, Falcon 50, and ATL2. Following the aircraft, ground units will march, followed by helicopters at 11:30 AM, and finally motorized and mounted units.
