Dassault Aviation Unveils Falcon 10X Business Jet

French aerospace manufacturer Dassault Aviation has unveiled its newest business jet, the Falcon 10X, during a presentation in Bordeaux-Mérignac. The company states this is its most ambitious Falcon model to date, setting a new standard for comfort and performance in long-range business aviation.

The Falcon 10X offers the widest and tallest cabin of any purpose-built business jet, according to the manufacturer. Dassault Aviation CEO Éric Trappier stated the goal was to allow passengers to live aboard the aircraft as they do in their daily lives, arriving at their destination rested.

The aircraft's design incorporates expertise from Dassault's fighter jet programs. The Falcon 10X will fly at speeds approaching Mach 0.925 and has a range of 7,500 nautical miles (13,890 km), enabling missions such as New York to Shanghai or Los Angeles to Sydney.

Cabin pressure will be maintained at a remarkably low equivalent of just over 3,000 feet (900 meters) at cruise altitude. The aircraft features 38 large windows, providing natural light. The cabin, measuring 2.77 meters wide and 2.03 meters high, can be configured into three or four zones, offering spaces for dining, private suites, and full-size sleeping berths.

The wing of the Falcon 10X is fully composite, enhancing aerodynamic efficiency and reducing weight. The NeXus cockpit integrates advanced touchscreen displays and automation tools designed to reduce pilot workload during complex flight phases. It also includes an enhanced vision system for low-visibility conditions.
