Dassault Aviation unveils Falcon 10X with largest cabin in its class

French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation has unveiled its new Falcon 10X business jet, promising an unparalleled level of comfort and versatility for passengers.

The aircraft boasts a range of 7,500 nautical miles (approximately 13,900 km), allowing non-stop flights such as New York to Shanghai or Los Angeles to Sydney. Its top speed is Mach 0.925. Dassault states the Falcon 10X will feature the largest cabin on the market, offering greater modularity than other aircraft in its segment, with options for extensive customization.

The cabin dimensions are 2.03 meters (6 feet, 8 inches) in height and 2.77 meters (9 feet, 1 inch) in width, making it notably wider and taller than current purpose-built business jets. The aircraft incorporates an advanced pressurization system that will maintain a cabin altitude of 3,000 feet (900 meters) while flying at 41,000 feet (12,500 meters). It will also feature a next-generation filtration system for purified air.

The Falcon 10X will be equipped with a newly designed wing made from carbon fiber composites, optimized for speed and efficiency. Power will be supplied by Rolls-Royce's new Pearl 10X engines, described as the most advanced and efficient in business aviation.

The flight deck will incorporate technology derived from Dassault's military programs, including a next-generation Digital Flight Control System for enhanced precision and safety, featuring a single-button recovery mode. The aircraft will also utilize Dassault's FalconEye® combined vision system, offering enhanced and synthetic vision capabilities for operations in low-visibility conditions.

Dassault Aviation expects the Falcon 10X to enter service by the end of 2025. The company has a century-long history in aircraft manufacturing, having delivered over 10,000 aircraft, including more than 2,500 Falcon business jets.
