Datavault AI Founder Files Lawsuit Against Board of Directors
Datavault AI founder Nathaniel Bradley has initiated legal action against the company’s board, alleging that Chairman and CFO Brett Moyer blocked a significant financing proposal.
Nathaniel Bradley, the founder of Nasdaq-listed Datavault AI, has filed a lawsuit in Delaware alleging that Chairman and CFO Brett Moyer orchestrated his removal from the company. The legal complaint claims that Moyer executed a weekend lockout of the founder while withholding a $90–$100 million financing offer from the independent board members.
The suit details allegations of breach of fiduciary duty, arguing that the suppression of the funding proposal prevented the board from considering capital that could have stabilized or expanded the business. Bradley contends that these actions were designed to consolidate control within the current executive leadership.
This litigation introduces significant corporate governance concerns for Datavault AI, potentially impacting investor confidence in the Nasdaq-listed firm. The court will now be tasked with determining the validity of the claims regarding the alleged concealment of financing options and the legality of the board's internal management decisions.
