IT service provider DATEV has installed the Canon ColorStream 8000 series printer, model ColorStream 8160, as its first global installation. Based in Nuremberg, DATEV is one of Europe's largest IT service providers, printing 1.1 billion A4 pages annually, which results in 13 million postal items.
For DATEV's customers, personalization, consistent color reproduction, print quality, and flexibility are critical criteria. The company also highlights the ability to make last-minute changes and accurately reproduce corporate colors. The new ColorStream 8160 is meeting these demands, with DATEV already planning future applications for the press.
The Canon ColorStream 8000 series is designed for high production efficiency and low operating costs, suitable for a diverse range of applications. This implementation marks the first worldwide installation of the series and is anticipated to significantly improve DATEV's printing services.
