David H. Lifschutz Acknowledged for Contributions to Psychiatry and Mental Health Care

New York – The Inner Circle has recognized David H. Lifschutz, MD, FAPA, as a "Pinnacle Lifetime Member" for his significant contributions to the fields of psychiatry and mental health care.
Lifschutz has dedicated over five decades to psychiatry and clinical psychopharmacology, providing individualized care to adolescents and adults. His expertise includes trauma treatment, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and addressing mental health challenges within the aviation sector.
In his clinical practice, Lifschutz treats patients aged 13 and older through comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology. He employs evidence-informed treatments aimed at helping individuals process trauma, build emotional resilience, and achieve lasting personal growth.
He possesses extensive experience working with pilots, a unique understanding gained from his own background as a private pilot with over 500 flight hours. His work has involved assisting pilots with issues such as addiction, panic attacks, and emotional challenges.
Lifschutz earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Southern California. He also underwent seven years of psychoanalytic training at the NYU Postdoctoral Program for Psychoanalysis. He is board-certified in psychiatry and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
