Motor Presse Stuttgart has announced that David Holscher will become the new Editor-in-Chief of its men's lifestyle magazine, Men's Health, effective January 1, 2026. Holscher will take over from Arndt Ziegler, who is stepping down after two decades with the publication.

Wolfgang Melcher, Managing Director of Motor Presse Hamburg, expressed confidence in Holscher's appointment. "I am very pleased that we have secured David Holscher, an outstanding media professional who has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to successfully lead and further develop lifestyle media," Melcher stated. Holscher previously held managing editor positions at Bauer Media brands InTouch and Closer, and worked on the editorial teams of OK! and Sugar.

Holscher described the opportunity to lead and shape the Men's Health brand as a passion project. Ziegler, who began his career at the magazine as an intern 20 years ago, indicated that Holscher's leadership provides a smooth transition. "I am very happy to know that Men's Health is in the best hands with David. This has greatly eased my own decision to step down after a total of 20 years," Ziegler said.

Men's Health reported strong performance in 2025, exceeding previous years in advertising revenue and single-copy sales. The print edition, in particular, has seen significant success, with each issue since a redesign in early 2025 selling at or above prior-year levels. Melcher credited Ziegler for his contributions to the magazine's development.
