Dawn Myers Simplifies Styling and Care for Curly Hair

Dawn Myers is working to simplify the process of styling and caring for curly hair with new approaches. Myers herself often faces tedious wash days, which involve significant time and effort for detangling, styling, and conditioning textured hair.

She conceived the idea for developing solutions eight years ago while watching "Shark Tank," where another hair product pitch for curly hair was featured. Myers began considering the hair tools available on the market, many of which are designed to straighten or alter the chemistry of naturally curly hair, rather than support its inherent style.

According to Myers, washing and styling naturally curly hair can take as long as an hour and 20 minutes. She identified a gap in the market, as current tools do not adequately assist with the care and styling of curly hair while respecting its natural texture.

Myers' initiative aims to provide curly-haired individuals with tools and methods that expedite and streamline their hair care routines without compromising their natural look.
