DayOne Data Centers and Sembcorp partner to develop energy solutions for Asian data centers
Singapore-headquartered DayOne Data Centers has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sembcorp Utilities to develop power solutions for digital infrastructure projects across Asia.

DayOne Data Centers and Sembcorp Utilities have formed a strategic collaboration to address the energy requirements of large-scale data centers. The memorandum of understanding (MOU) focuses on integrating power supply solutions to support the rapid growth of digital infrastructure in the Asian market.
As the demand for computing power grows in Asia, data center operators face significant challenges regarding reliable and scalable electricity supply. This partnership aims to leverage Sembcorp’s utilities portfolio to provide stable energy access for DayOne’s regional expansion initiatives.
The project marks a shift toward closer integration between infrastructure providers and energy suppliers to ensure operational stability. The initiative will prioritize the development of power frameworks that accommodate the high energy demands inherent in modern digital infrastructure operations.
