DayOne Upsizes Malaysia Financing to $7.2 Billion, Exceeds 1GW Billings
Singapore-based digital infrastructure firm DayOne announced an upsizing of its Malaysian financing to $7.2 billion and surpassed 1 gigawatt (GW) of billed IT power capacity. The company's bookings now stand at 2.3GW.

DayOne Data Centers Limited, a global digital infrastructure platform headquartered in Singapore, has increased its senior secured syndicated term financing in Malaysia to approximately US$7.2 billion. The company also announced it has surpassed 1 gigawatt (GW) of billed IT power capacity and reached 2.3GW in committed customer bookings.
The Malaysian financing, arranged by a seven-lender consortium, supports the continued development of DayOne's data center platform in Johor. This builds upon the approximately US$3.5 billion syndicated financing the company secured in May 2025. Since 2024, DayOne has raised over US$6 billion in equity financing across multiple rounds.
DayOne's billed capacity has grown more than eightfold in under two years. The 1GW milestone was achieved as the company's bookings reached approximately 2.3GW, up from 1.25GW at the end of 2025. In addition to bookings, DayOne also holds 1.1GW in customer reservations.
The company acquires powered land and secures major customer commitments early in its development process. Across its ten markets, DayOne's total resources have reached 4.6GW. A key part of its growth strategy involves broadening and diversifying its customer base.
