DayOne Upsizes Malaysia Financing to US$7.2 Billion
DayOne Data Centers Limited has increased its syndicated financing in Malaysia to approximately US$7.2 billion, surpassing 1GW in IT power capacity billings and reaching 2.3GW in bookings.

DayOne Data Centers Limited, a Singapore-headquartered digital infrastructure platform, announced an upsizing of its senior secured syndicated term financing in Malaysia to approximately US$7.2 billion. This financing supports the continued development of its data center platform in Johor.
The company also reported that its IT power capacity billings have now surpassed 1 gigawatt (GW). This milestone signifies capacity generating income under long-term customer contracts. Additionally, DayOne's total bookings, representing committed IT power capacity under legally binding customer contracts, have reached 2.3GW.
The financing, arranged by a seven-lender consortium, builds upon approximately US$3.5 billion in syndicated financing secured in May 2025. Since 2024, DayOne has raised over US$6 billion in equity and secured project financing from more than 30 banking partners.
CEO Jamie Khoo stated that the confidence from banking partners and customers underpins DayOne's growth and enables strategic capacity for AI and cloud infrastructure. The company aims to deliver responsible execution and bring capacity online at speed and scale in the markets its customers require.
