DBU to Attend SMM 2026 Maritime Trade Fair in Hamburg

The German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) will participate in the SMM 2026 trade fair, taking place in Hamburg from September 1-4. DBU will host its project partners at a joint stand (Hall A1, Stand 543), focusing on environmental solutions within the maritime sector.
The SMM trade fair is expected to draw over 2,200 exhibitors and approximately 40,000 participants globally, positioning it as a leading international event for the maritime industry.
DBU's project partners exhibiting at the fair include Jade University of Applied Sciences (Wilhelmshaven), LimnoMar – Laboratory for Limnic and Marine Research (Hamburg), the University of Rostock, and Wi.Tec-Sensorik GmbH (Wesel). These collaborations aim to advance more sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for maritime applications.
The event serves as a platform to showcase new technologies and research findings contributing to the future development and sustainability of the maritime sector.
