Debt.com and Give Me A Voice Partner to Fund Autism Support

Debt.com and the nonprofit organization Give Me A Voice have launched a fundraising initiative to support children with autism. The collaboration aims to fund the salary of a full-time nurse at The Learning Center, a tuition-free school located in Palm Beach Gardens.

The initiative features a raffle for a two-year car lease. The grand prize is a new Hyundai Kona or similar vehicle for two years. Alternatively, the winner can opt for a $11,000 cash prize, equivalent to the lease value. Raffle tickets are priced at $10 each, with all proceeds directly supporting Give Me A Voice's program.

Give Me A Voice was founded by Cathy Sharp, whose experience as a parent of a child with autism inspired the organization. Sharp previously worked for eight years at a company that later became part of Debt.com. "You want your child to learn, grow, and become more independent, but above all, you need to know they are safe and secure," Sharp stated. "Having a full-time nurse means there's someone who can step in when a child has a medical need. For a parent, that peace of mind is priceless."

Don Silvestri, president of Debt.com, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting Sharp's efforts. "When someone who has been part of your family for so many years finds a way to turn their own experience into something that can help others, you have to support them," Silvestri said. He added that this initiative is a way to stand with all families in South Florida who have children with autism and deserve to know that someone is in their corner.

The fundraiser concludes on October 16. The goal is to raise $30,000 to fund the nurse position. Debt.com is sponsoring the prize to ensure that every dollar raised contributes further to the cause.
