Decathlon Equips 700 Stores With Vusion Digital Solutions

Sporting goods retailer Decathlon has reached a milestone of 700 stores equipped with Vusion's digital solutions by the end of the second quarter of 2026. The technology is now deployed in 54 countries across Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and the customer experience.

Vusion's solutions, particularly electronic shelf labels (ESL), automate price management. This frees up store personnel from the time-consuming task of manually replacing paper price tags, allowing them to focus more on customer service and advice.

The digital shelf management also ensures pricing accuracy at the checkout, reducing discrepancies between shelf prices and scanned prices. The company states this contributes to increased customer trust and satisfaction.

"ESLs have enhanced the in-store experience and improved our operational efficiency. Large-scale deployment allows us to focus on our core mission: advising our sports customers," said Xavier Dété, VP Innovation at Decathlon. The retailer notes the system integrates seamlessly with its existing Cisco Meraki network infrastructure without requiring additional hardware. This expansion makes Decathlon Vusion's most internationally deployed customer to date.
