Decisions CEO Giles Whiting Named to Aspen Institute Technology Leaders Program

Giles Whiting, CEO of Decisions, has been named a Fellow in the inaugural class of the Aspen Institute's Technology Leaders Initiative (TLI). This two-year program brings together 22 senior leaders from across the global technology ecosystem to cultivate values-based leadership concerning artificial intelligence and other frontier technologies.

The TLI aims to provide leaders with dedicated time and a peer network to reflect on the immense responsibilities that accompany rapid technological advancements. Whiting stated that leadership in the current technological landscape requires not only technical expertise but also sound judgment, accountability, and a clear understanding of the interplay between people, systems, and technology.

The inaugural cohort includes leaders from diverse sectors of the technology industry, including AI, biotechnology, and quantum computing, with participants hailing from prominent organizations such as OpenAI, Meta, and Microsoft. Fellows are expected to develop and pursue individual impact initiatives applying the program's lessons.

Whiting has served as CEO of Decisions since 2025 and brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise software and technology. His background includes leadership roles within the U.S. Department of Defense.
