DECOI 2025 event to gather defence innovators in Helsinki in November

The DECOI 2025 – Defence Ecosystem of Innovators event will take place in Helsinki on November 18, 2025, bringing together innovations in defence, security, and dual-use technologies. Scheduled during Slush week, the event offers a platform for European and international growth companies to present their solutions to defence and security experts and investors.
DECOI has established itself as Northern Europe's primary arena for defence and security technology. Founded in 2024, the event addresses the need to connect emerging innovations with investors amid heightened global security concerns and the growing importance of dual-use technologies.
This year's event is jointly organized by the Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) and the EU-supported EUDIS Matchmaking. Key partners include Patria, the Embassy of Latvia in Finland, and Enterprise Estonia. Supporters of the event include Millog, Digital Defence Ecosystem, BSV Ventures, and the Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries – PIA ry.

The event will feature a curated group of companies pitching their solutions in startup and scale-up categories. The invitation-only audience will comprise angel investors, venture capitalists, and representatives from the defence and security sector across Europe.
