DeCuzzi Tires Releases New 12x4.00-5 Go-Kart Tire

DeCuzzi Tires has introduced a new 12x4.00-5 tire designed for rental and recreational go-karts. The company states the new model features improved manufacturing consistency, enhanced resistance to temperature and weather variations, and better grip.

The tire is produced using a refined molding process intended to ensure uniform quality and structural integrity, leading to more predictable performance. This addresses a key concern for go-kart track owners and hobbyists who require reliable equipment.

A new rubber compound aims to maintain performance across a wider temperature range, preventing issues with hardening in the cold or softening in heat. The company also claims an extended lifespan for the tire, designed to withstand repeated braking and acceleration, reducing maintenance costs for track operators.

DeCuzzi Tires has also updated the tread design and rubber compound to optimize traction, particularly in corners. This is intended to provide drivers with enhanced control and a smoother ride.

The 2025 model will be available soon. The company is also holding a clearance sale on its 2024 tire compound.
