Deepinder Goyal's Temple Wearable Shrinks Ahead of 2026 Launch

Deepinder Goyal's wearable startup, Temple, has revealed a new design for its upcoming product, reportedly making it less than half the size of previous versions. Goyal stated on social media that the device is now "volumetrically, the smallest wearable on the market, and the most powerful."

Temple will soon begin accepting pre-orders for a new, limited edition of the wearable. Shipments are anticipated to commence before the close of 2026. Specific details regarding pricing and technical specifications have not yet been disclosed.

The wearable is associated with Goyal's research firm, Continue Research, which explores longevity. Previous reports suggested Temple's devices would measure cerebral blood flow, linked to a hypothesis about gravity's effect on brain blood flow and aging. Goyal indicated the device will function as a standalone consumer product regardless of the research's outcome.

Temple raised $54 million in seed funding in February and has reportedly been valued at $375 million in an employee stock ownership plan buyback. The company aims to differentiate itself in the growing healthtech wearable market, which is exploring various form factors beyond traditional fitness trackers.
