DeepSeek Releases Harness 0.1.5 with Flash V4.1 Support

DeepSeek has launched version 0.1.5 of its DeepSeek Harness software, adding support for Flash V4.1 and enhanced functionality for users. The update allows for dedicated optimization for V4.1 Flash across standard, programmatic tool-calling (PTC), and minimal modes.

The new version enables users to upload images and PDFs for model-assisted file reading. System prompts can also be updated while retaining existing KV Cache, improving workflow efficiency.

DeepSeek Harness 0.1.5 introduces workspace file-tree previews for common file types including Markdown, HTML, PDF, code, and images. It also features standardized plugin extension points and improved performance for long sessions.

Additionally, the update enhances two-way communication with child agents. An experimental Agent Teams plugin is included, allowing a main agent to coordinate multiple team members, though it remains disabled by default.
