DeepSeek announced plans to establish an official plugin marketplace for its Harness service, aiming to streamline plugin distribution and discovery for developers. The company also intends to launch a support program for creators, which will include token-based incentives, technical resources, and increased platform exposure.
As of November 4, the Harness platform recorded 1.54 million daily active users, a figure inclusive of those accessing the service via DeepSeek’s official API. According to internal data, the platform hosts approximately 35,000 third-party plugins, with 60% of active users having interacted with these extensions.
Alongside the marketplace development, the company is prioritizing infrastructure upgrades. These efforts focus on improving the stability, security, and compatibility of the plugin API to support the growing ecosystem.
