Honest Farms, the consumer food brand launched by agritech startup DeHaat, has raised ₹35 crore (approximately $4 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by OTP Ventures. Sadev Capital and Maiuni Ventures also participated in the round.
The company plans to utilize the new capital to expand into new geographies, broaden its portfolio of over 100 products, and increase awareness around pesticide-free foods. Honest Farms sources its products directly from farmers through DeHaat's network and ensures them through more than 230 quality checks.
The brand currently sells through over 3,000 retail stores across more than 120 cities, in addition to quick commerce, e-commerce, and modern trade platforms. It aims to expand its retail presence to over 10,000 stores within the next 12-18 months.
Honest Farms represents DeHaat's expansion beyond its core business. DeHaat, founded in 2012, provides farmers with agricultural inputs, advisory services, credit, and market linkages. The parent company, DeHaat, achieved profitability in fiscal year 2025.
