DEHN enhances safety product portfolio with new solutions for hazardous areas and rail infrastructure
DEHN has launched a new potential equalization rail for explosion-hazardous areas and updated its surge protection for railway infrastructure. The company also participated in a regional climate protection initiative and recognized long-serving employees.

DEHN, an electrical engineering company, has expanded its product offerings with new solutions aimed at enhancing safety in critical environments. The company introduced the PAS EX potential equalization rail, designed to prevent incendive sparks in potentially explosive atmospheres, addressing a key requirement in such areas.
Further strengthening its infrastructure protection portfolio, DEHN has updated its BLITZDUCTORconnect surge protection system for railway applications. This system now complies with the DB guideline Ril 819.0808, offering protection for signaling and interlocking technology in rail environments with a compact 6mm width, thereby ensuring higher system availability.
In parallel to its product development, DEHN has demonstrated commitment to sustainability and community engagement. The company transitioned to carbon-neutral electricity and natural gas from Stadtwerke Neumarkt, resulting in an annual reduction of 2,900 tons of CO2 emissions. DEHN also joined the #ZusammenFürNeumarkt initiative, supporting the local economy and promoting COVID-19 vaccinations.
The company also celebrated the service anniversaries of 47 employees, some with decades of dedication. DEHN continues its focus on vocational training, evidenced by its recent Best Place to Learn® certification, highlighting its commitment to developing young talent.
