German surge protection specialist DEHN is expanding its international operations with the founding of a subsidiary in Japan. This move underscores the strategic importance of the Japanese market for the company, particularly within the renewable energy and telecommunications sectors.
The new entity, DEHN JAPAN K.K., will be based in Yokohama. The company aims to leverage Japan's focus on decarbonization and advanced energy solutions, including photovoltaic, wind, and hydrogen technologies, as well as its telecommunications infrastructure development.
Japan has set ambitious goals to reduce carbon emissions by 2050, driving significant investment in sustainable energy and digital infrastructure. DEHN plans to offer its specialized protection solutions to support these critical industries and ensure the reliability of essential systems.
DEHN CEO Dr. Philipp Dehn stated that global megatrends such as renewable energy and digitalization are key drivers of the company's growth. He added that future energy grids require dependable protection solutions, which DEHN provides.
