DEHN introduces new surge protection devices for industrial and grid applications

DEHN, a manufacturer of electrical protection solutions, has introduced new products aimed at protecting automation and information technology within industrial settings.

The new BLITZDUCTORconnect series offers combined lightning current and surge protection devices suitable for industrial automation, measurement and control technology, as well as IT interfaces. The company states these devices feature a high lightning current discharge capacity and a low protection level, making them adept for end-device protection. They are available in compact or modular formats, both with a narrow 6mm width. New features, such as secR release buttons and Push-in terminal technology, are designed to streamline installation.

Furthermore, DEHN has presented the DEHNshield ZP family, which meets the requirements of the German standard VDE-AR-N 4100 for pre-meter surge protection. The DEHNshield ZP 2 SG TT and DEHNshield ZP Basic 2 SG TT integrate the standard's surge protection requirements and provide primary protection for the entire electrical installation close to the supply point. They also facilitate power supply for intelligent measuring systems.
