DEHN releases inspection report template for lightning protection systems

DEHN, a company specializing in surge protection, lightning protection, and safety equipment, has released a new inspection report template designed for the comprehensive assessment of lightning protection systems. This template aligns with the DIN EN 62305-3 (VDE 0185-305-3) standard.

The report structure aims to cover all essential aspects of a lightning protection system. It includes sections for verifying the condition of the external lightning protection, such as air termination networks, down conductors, and the earth electrode system. Furthermore, the template requires checks on the internal lightning protection, including the correct installation and functionality of surge protective devices (SPDs).

The template requests detailed information about the object being inspected, the property owner, and the installer.
