DEKUPLE will participate in the 12th edition of the Route du Rhum Destination Guadeloupe, a major sailing race set to begin on November 6, 2022, from Saint-Malo. The event will host 138 skippers competing across various classes.
The DEKUPLE entry races in the Class40 category, which includes 55 boats. Skipper William Mathelin Moreaux represents DEKUPLE in this competitive class. Preparations for the race include an official village opening on October 25, offering attendees a closer look at the event.
The race launch press conference, held at Théâtre Mogador in Paris on September 22, brought together key stakeholders. These included representatives from Groupe Télégramme, OC Sport, the Secretariat of State for the Sea, the Regional Council of Brittany, the Regional Council of Guadeloupe, CIC, the Surfrider Foundation Europe, the City of Saint-Malo, and the French Sailing Federation.
The Route du Rhum is one of France's most significant sporting events, recognized for its challenging Atlantic crossing and the demanding nature of solo ocean racing. The 2022 edition continues this tradition with a significant fleet.
