Delta Dental of New Mexico supports free dental clinic in Albuquerque
Delta Dental of New Mexico is partnering with the New Mexico Dental Association Foundation to provide free dental care during a two-day clinic held at EXPO New Mexico this November.
Delta Dental of New Mexico is providing operational support for the New Mexico Mission of Mercy, a charitable event scheduled for November 6–7 at EXPO New Mexico. The clinic is designed to offer no-cost dental services to underserved populations throughout the state.
The initiative addresses persistent barriers to dental care, including lack of insurance and limited access to local providers. By utilizing volunteer dental professionals, the foundation aims to provide immediate relief for common dental issues such as extractions, fillings, and cleanings.
Access to oral healthcare remains a significant public health issue in New Mexico. This clinic serves as a temporary response to the high demand for dental services, highlighting the gap in the current healthcare landscape for low-income or uninsured residents.
